If you are looking for decent gaming laptop under Rs.70000, you might run across several options out there. gaming laptops

Well, no worries in this article I’m going to simplify things for you on how you can select the best hardware configuration under this budget and what important things to be prioritized as there is no one perfect universal recommendation.

Now let’s discuss about hardwares to simplify your decision

Processor

There are basically two types of processors to choose i.e. AMD & Intel.

Which one to choose?

It’s very hard to chose! It’s very hard to choose! The AMD and Intel each are good at their own  place and both of them have  very powerful high priced processors. Here, we need a laptop for gaming and within a price range of Rs.70000, so you need to choose the perfect processor as it will govern the performance of laptop and provide you the best gaming experience. Since,  processor is the primary part of a pc, you can say the “heart of a laptop is the processor!” Here I picked Intel 8th Gen and above processor! and AMD Ryzen 3000 series and above, which are the best processors you can say! In terms of pricing and performance, the Intel one is excellent! My advice is to go along with Intel-Based build for best gaming and computing experience.

AMD is equally good as Intel processor in this price range! or even higher than Intel, Like AMD Ryzen 5 processor has inbuilt vega graphics and it could possibly deal with most recently video games without any graphics card! If you’ve a limited price range and don’t wish to spend a lot then you should go along with AMD based pcs! Otherwise, my choice is Intel-Based pc.

RAM

It is recommended to go for 8 GB RAM for low to medium end gaming. If you could afford more, then you should go for 16 GB RAM for high end gaming. If you can’t get your 16 GB RAM now consider upgrading in future. Do make sure the laptop you selected has RAM upgradation slot.

Storage

HDD or SSD? In most of the budget gaming laptop you will get HDD (1 TB)  storage but majority gaming notebooks also include a small SSD (128 GB or 256 GB). If you can spend litte more then I would recommend to go for SSD because SSD drives loads much faster than HDD. If you can’t then consider to go for minimum 5400 rpm HDD.

Like, RAM you can also upgrade the storage in future.

Display

There are several display size options available i.e.15″, 17″, 18″ etc. But remember, the greater the size, the heavier the laptop. For better picture quality, it is recommended to go for minimum 1920 x 1080 display. There are other factors also which shall be taken in like refresh rate and response time. Most of the gaming laptops are available with 60 Hz refresh rate which we can say is a decent feature for budget laptop. But for medium to high end gaming, 120 Hz and more refresh rate is recommended for smooth performance. Ofcourse, you need a great GPU to handle such heavy settings.

Battery

If you are using your laptop to play games, you need to keep your laptop plugged in to get best performance out of your GPU. CPU and GPU are the major hardware that consumes more power while on gaming. You’ll be lucky if laptop lasts for long. From my personal experience, most of the gaming laptops last only for few hours. Therefore, it is highly recommended to keep your laptop connected while gaming.

Concluding Remark

When buying a gaming laptop, get one that lasts for long. If you can afford, get a mid-range to high-range GPU, that would give obviously better performance. You should also pay attention on CPU and RAM as they also play major role on performance. Storage is the secondary part as it can upgraded later but considering for more would be better as games take up lots of space. Decide if you want to prefer high resolutions or faster displays but you won’t get great battery life.

Thus all of these parameters define the overall performance of gaming laptop.
